German company Aaronia AG will present new electronic warfare (EW) tools for counter-drone operations during the AOC Europe conference, which will take place in Helsinki, Finland, from May 19 to 21.

According to information released by the company, the new capabilities are part of its new AARTOS product family, platforms designed for real-time detection, signal analysis and electronic warfare.

Among them, the SPECTRAN V6 Mobile stands out, a system that combines radio frequency sensors, radars, EO/IR cameras and electronic jamming tools in a single integrated architecture capable of spectral analysis.

According to the company, it is the world’s first portable real-time spectrum analyzer with this combination of specifications. The claim cannot be independently confirmed, but it follows the trend of technological advancement in the sector.

The rapid growth in the use of drones in recent conflicts, especially in the war in Ukraine, has been driving global investment in systems for detecting, jamming and neutralizing unmanned aircraft. European and American companies have accelerated the development of technologies focused on electromagnetic spectrum dominance and counter-drone combat.

“We clearly see that demand for integrated [counter-drone systems] and electronic warfare solutions continues to accelerate. AARTOS was designed to meet that demand with a scalable, high-precision system architecture,” said Stephan Kraschansky, Director of Defense and Government Solutions at Aaronia AG.
